Kearney will head up the commercial functions of both businesses, operating from Caddick’s Wakefield and Durham offices and working closely with the respective managing directors to position the firms for sustainable growth.
His remit spans key regions including Yorkshire, the North East, North West and Midlands, where he will support delivery of a growing internal pipeline while sharpening work-winning activity with external clients.
Kearney brings nearly 30 years’ experience, most recently as commercial director north at Wates, overseeing a commercial team of around 100 across its construction and residential business.
Prior to that, he spent 25 years at Keepmoat, later Engie following its 2017 acquisition, holding a range of operational and commercial roles focused on driving efficiencies.
He said: “CCL Facades and Caddick Civil Engineering both have strong and diverse portfolios, and my focus will be on creating greater efficiencies and stronger collaboration to support the growth strategies of both businesses.
“By looking closely at key opportunities, internal efficiencies, and the systems and processes that underpin our operations, we can ensure we are ready to expand sustainably, increase turnover, and provide an even better service for our clients.”
