It has been a year since the devastating wildfires tore through Los Angeles, burning 23,067+ ha (57,000+ acres) of land and impacting millions of lives.

Following the Palisades Fire, C.W. Driver Companies led the recovery effort for Palisades Charter High School by transforming the former landmark 9,290-m2 (100,000-sf) Sears building into a fully functional temporary campus in Santa Monica.

Completed in just four weeks, the fast-tracked rebuild provided a safe and modern learning environment for approximately 2,500 displaced students while the original Pali High campus was undergoing reconstruction.

Construction is also underway on the second phase of the MonteCedro Senior Living project in Altadena. With completion expected this spring, the 9,476 m² (102,000 sf) project will feature four villa buildings, each comprising 40 independent living apartments, designed to meet increasing demand. It will also consist of 929 m2 (10,000 sf) of renovation to the existing property.
