In addition to the 2025 main category winners found in the list below, the Best Projects safety and sustainability awardees, which are juried by a separate group of safety and sustainability experts, will be announced soon in the ENR East free e-newsletter. Finalists for this year’s ENR New England Project of the Year will also be announced soon in the ENR East newsletter.

Judges’ selection for this year’s overall Project of the Year from the Best Project-level winners listed below will be announced in the November issue of ENR East and at the ENR New England Best Projects awards event on Dec. 11 in Boston.

This year’s winning projects in the main categories—listed at the bottom of this post—will also be profiled in depth in the November print issue of ENR East. Projects were all located in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
Projects were evaluated on the ability of the project team to overcome challenges, safety, construction/design quality, and contribution to the industry and the community. Due to the large number of entries, we can only cite a fraction of projects submitted each year, so projects that did not win this year can be submitted next year if they are still eligible!
This year’s New England judges for the main categories were Matthew Arnold, founder at ArnoldAnd, Scott Bascom, associate architect at Sasaki and Aidan Sullivan, assistant project manager at Consigli Construction.
Judges could select any combination of Best Project-level and Award of Merit category winners. In some categories, judges decided not to give an award. Judges did not score or vote on projects submitted by their own companies.
