The Orange County Health Care Agency Marine Way Campus earned the Southern California Award of Merit – Excellence in Safety Award.
ENR West is pleased to announce the winners for the 2025 Regional Best Projects Excellence in Safety and Excellence in Sustainability competitions in the Northern California and Southern California subregions.
An independent group of AEC experts reviewed 63 projects from across California, Nevada and Hawaii and selected four Best Projects and seven Awards of Merit. The Northern California subregion includes northern Nevada and Hawaii while the Southern California subregion includes southern Nevada.
The judges for the 2025 contest are:
- Raven Adams, sustainability manager, Granite Construction
- Ted Boyce, director of safety, quality and organizational development, Hathaway Dinwiddie
- Craig Decesare, manager, health, safety and environmental, WSP
- Richard McDonald, corporate director of sustainability, Sundt
- Brian Sorensen, executive vice president, Exxel Pacific
As always, to avoid conflicts of interest, our judges did not score any categories in which their firms submitted entries, and abstained from scoring projects on which they had any involvement.
