Project of the Year finalists (L to R) are ASU Wilson Hall, Fab 52 and Mountain Line Downtown Connection Center.

ENR Mountain States & Southwest announced last month the category winners for its Southwest Best Projects competition, recognizing the best in design and construction in Arizona and New Mexico. In addition to those awards, judges selected from all the winners three projects as finalists for this year’s Project of the Year. Experts in safety and sustainability also selected winners for those special awards.

All winning project teams will be recognized in Phoenix at a luncheon on Nov. 13 at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel. Click here for more info about the event and to register.

The event will also recognize several other award winners from throughout the year: Design Firm of the Year AEI; Contractor of the Year Layton Construction; and our Specialty Contractor of the Year, which is TBD. We will also recognize Southwest’s Legacy Award winner Steve Chanen.
