The Bodo Möller Chemie Group recently announced the appointment of Peter Holm, previously the long-standing managing director of Bodo Möller Chemie Denmark, as chairman of its Danish subsidiary. As a result of this change, Holm will gradually withdraw from day-to-day operations. Karin Håkansson is now heading business activities in Denmark as the new managing director. Håkansson has performed these duties since the beginning of the year.

On appointing Peter Holm as chairman, the Bodo Möller Chemie Group will retain his industry experience and strategic expertise. Having worked for Bodo Möller Chemie since 2008, Holm was instrumental in building up the subsidiary in Denmark and led it successfully for many years. He was also responsible for expanding and heading the Nordic region.

“Peter Holm has developed the Danish location into a significant part of our company group with his vision and dedication. We’re pleased that he’ll continue to provide us with advice and support, using his valuable knowledge and connections,” said Frank Haug, CEO of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group. 

“After many years in operational leadership, it’s time for me to take a step back and make room for new ideas. I’m pleased to have Karin Håkansson as a highly capable successor and will assist her to the best of my abilities in my new role as chairman,” added Holm.
