Mark Bus of ATAS Receives Forty Under 40 Award

The Forty Under 40 awards program recognizes the future leaders of the Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania area who are under the age of 40. These individuals are not only achieving success in their careers but giving back in meaningful ways to the Lehigh Valley community.  Mark Bus, National Sales Manager of ATAS International, Inc. received this award on September 11, 2025.

Forty Under 40 honorees are selected by a panel of judges made up of prior year Forty Under 40 honorees and the Lehigh Valley Business leadership team. Nominations, applications, and letters of recommendation are judged on documented professional accomplishments and civic involvement.

The Forty Under 40 awards program identifies and honors rising stars in the Lehigh Valley’s business community, recognizing young leaders in the area. Nominees must show significant achievements and professional excellence within their respective fields and demonstrate a strong civic commitment and positive contributions to the Greater Lehigh Valley community. The award serves to honor accomplishments while also highlighting the future potential of these young leaders.

In addition to his position at ATAS, Bus serves on the national Metal Roofing Alliance board, and the board of St. Joseph the Worker School in Orefield, PA. He also is on the facility committee for St. Joseph the Worker School. Bus is an Eagle Scout, a member of the Lehigh Career and Technical Institute’s occupational advisory council for pre-engineering, and after hours, can often be found coaching his daughters’ sports team.

Jim Bush, ATAS’ Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said, “I’ve worked with Mark for many years now, and have witnessed his career progression within ATAS. He has held several positions within the company, and each promotion has been well-earned with his significant achievements and professional excellence. With his volunteerism and strong community commitment, along with his dedication to the growth of ATAS, Mark is more than qualified to receive this Forty Under 40 award.”
