Gale Associates, Inc., a consulting engineering firm, announced Alan Craigo, PE, BECxP, CxA+BE as the new leader of the firm’s Florida office. With an established presence in Florida for over 30 years, Gale Associates is a leading consulting engineering firm delivering evaluation, design, renovation, and restoration services for buildings, infrastructures, and sites. Alan joined the firm in 1997 and is a Senior Project Manager in the Building Enclosure Consulting and Commissioning Group with 28 years of consulting experience in Florida. Alan will lead the day-to-day operations of Gale’s Florida office, responsible for project delivery, client relations, employee development, and strategic growth initiatives across the region.
Gale’s Florida office has been serving clients since 1991, with decades of experience in K-12 and higher education, entertainment, and municipal sectors, with a specialized focus on the planning and design of both new and renovated athletic facilities.
Alan began his career at Gale progressing through various engineering roles to a Senior Project Manager. A skillful manager and enclosure expert, he has managed a wide range of building enclosure projects, responsible for all phases of evaluation, field testing, design, construction, and commissioning of enclosure systems and components. He oversees project teams providing technical oversight and quality assurance of project deliverables for the Building Enclosure Consulting and Commissioning Groups. He consults in the areas of peer review, forensic evaluations, remedial design, and commissioning projects, providing a high standard of performance and reliability.

A Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, Alan is a certified Building Enclosure Commissioning Process Provider (BECxP) and certified Commissioning Authority + Building Enclosure (CxA+BE). He is an active member of the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
