Elisa debuts 10 Gbps home internet with 2025 fibre expansion plans and tie-up with MPY

Finnish operator Elisa said it is offering offer broadband at up to 10 Gbps to residential customers from 01 April as it announced plans to expand its fibre network to 200 locations this year and also said it has set up a joint venture with infrastructure specialist MPY Telecom. Elisa and MPY have agreed a joint venture to build and operate fibre infrastructure in Elisa’s network area, improving Elisa’s ability to extend its coverage flexibly as customer demand rises, the operator said. Elisa will lease the
