Overnight closures for northbound Pattullo Bridge lanes

If you are traveling across the Pattullo Bridge, plan for some overnight closures of the northbound lanes over the next two weeks.

The northbound lanes are going to be closed overnight on three occasions, with the first coming on Thursday, June 26, to Friday, June 27.

The second closure will be on Friday, June 27, into Saturday, June 28, and the last closure is scheduled for Thursday, July 3, into Friday, July 4.

On each of these days, the closure will be in effect from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next day.

Crews will be installing an expansion joint on the Surrey side of the bridge as part of the ongoing Pattullo Bridge Replacement Project.

Southbound lanes will not be affected by this work.

Consider alternate routes if you typically use the northbound Pattullo Bridge during these hours.

The new Pattullo Bridge was initially expected to open last year, however, in May 2024, the province announced that the project would be delayed until at least fall 2025, due to supply chain issues.
