Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center is celebrating the opening of their sixth floor with a ribbon cutting and open house. This expansion will increase the number of beds available from 151 to 200.

Besides more beds, the opening of this floor means expanded services. These services include a Neuroscience Center, surgical specialties and a Legacy Total Joint Center.

When the hospital was built the sixth floor existed, but only as an empty shell. However, this expansion has always been part of the original plan.

Patients will begin using the sixth floor on October 5.

The ceremony is 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, October 1. The ribbon cutting will be at 5:30 p.m.

Anyone wishing to attend should RSVP by Wednesday, September 30 at 360-487-1020
