Fleetio, a fleet maintenance and optimization platform, has integrated with the John Deere Operations Center to provide heavy equipment fleets with a centralized way to monitor machine health and manage maintenance. The integration brings John Deere telematics and equipment health data directly into Fleetio, enabling teams to anticipate issues, reduce downtime, and maintain productivity across construction, agriculture, and infrastructure operations.
Closing the maintenance gap
Approximately 98% of heavy equipment fleets do not operate on fully scheduled service programs, leaving many teams to react to breakdowns rather than prevent them. The Fleetio-John Deere integration helps address this by providing:
- Service Program Templates: Pre-built and customizable templates for off-highway equipment, covering tasks such as oil sampling and hydraulic filter changes.
- Customizable Service Tasks: Teams can create routines tailored to their specific equipment.
- Geospatial Mapping: Custom polygon boundaries support asset tracking across remote or complex job sites.
Real-time insights and actions
The integration allows fleets to:
- Automate Maintenance Planning: Service reminders based on daily engine hours minimize unexpected downtime.
- Monitor Equipment Alerts Remotely: Fault codes, sensor readings, and diagnostics flag safety or performance issues early.
- Track Utilization: Monitor location and usage to ensure equipment is ready when needed.
Enhancing preventive maintenance
Digital inspections, automated alerts, and centralized service tracking help teams extend equipment life and reduce unplanned repairs. OEM-recommended maintenance can be followed or adapted to site-specific requirements, supporting consistent reliability and operational efficiency.
Improved visibility across job sites
With consolidated data from John Deere telematics, fleets gain a single platform for monitoring machine health, managing service tasks, and tracking utilization in real time.
Fleetio’s integration with John Deere Operations Center supports early problem detection and improved asset readiness, helping teams manage off-highway fleets more efficiently and extend equipment life.
“Fleetio is quickly becoming an instrumental part of our fleet maintenance operations, namely by offering a broad range of solutions that fit our business needs,” says Brian Bailey, fleet equipment manager at Duracap Asphalt Paving Contractors. “A driving factor in the decision to implement Fleetio is their integrations with a broad range of telematics, OEMs and fuel providers that bolster their platform’s offerings, along with being on the cutting edge of furthering their offerings. The John Deere Operations Center integration is a value-added service for construction fleets, as well as agricultural and forestry fleets. This integration allows further automation, thus improving manual workflow processes by importing relevant data, such as Hour Meter, Location, Utilization, Fault Codes, etc. into a central hub with other existing integrations already functional today.”
