Anyone who uses the Lions Gate Bridge can expect delays during construction this weekend, but the dreaded ‘bump’ that jammed traffic last summer should not be a problem this time around, officials are promising.
There will be a single-lane closure from 9 p.m. PT to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, and single-lane alternating traffic from 10:30 p.m. PT on April 2, to 9 a.m. April 3.

The ministry says the entire project is expected to take eight weeks and cost $1.1 million.
