GAF, North America’s largest roofing and waterproofing manufacturer, is bringing its nationally recognized Latinos in Roofing Summit & Expo to the Hilton Atlanta on September 13 to support the region’s growing Latino contractor community.
GAF launched the initiative in 2022 as a way to help elevate Latino contractors by providing education and resources that consider the Latino community’s unique challenges. It is estimated there are 1,740 roofers in Georgia and with demands for new housing continuing to rise there is a need to ensure the industry is supported and growing to meet demand. There are an estimated 91,000 Latino-owned businesses across Georgia, including roofers, according to Latinx Alliance of Georgia.
GAF’s Latinos in Roofing Summit & Expo will provide essential education on technical and business topics that consider challenges to growing their business and mitigating barriers to their professional and financial success.
English and Spanish sessions will cover in-home selling, storm restoration, commercial roofing, insurance, finances, job market strategies, product demonstrations and insights on how GAF’s partnerships can provide solutions for managing and strengthening businesses.
A reception the night before the event will encourage networking with other contractors and foster valuable professional relationships.
