FB-24 is designed to accommodate 1″ – 4″ nominal wall joints. Building joints naturally create an opening by which fire and smoke can penetrate. Fire barrier systems are created to fill such gaps, stopping fire and smoke from spreading. This provides increased safety and helps maintain the structural integrity of the building during a fire incident. FB-24 has been tested and is third-party listed with a 2-hour fire endurance rating in wall applications, meeting most current building codes and testing criteria.

FB-24 is supplied in 8′ lengths, letting it transition seamlessly to CS’ FB-22 floor fire barrier. This complete fire-rated solution allows for dynamic movement without degrading any materials. Installation is simplified through:
