Expansion joint repairs set to begin Monday for northbound Bond Bridge


The Missouri Department of Transportation said repairs to expansion joints along northbound Interstate 29/I-35 Bond Bridge over the Missouri River will start on Monday.Weather permitting, the work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m., which means that various lanes will be closed for several days at a time. MoDOT said in a news release that the first lane closure will be the leftmost lane of northbound I-29/I-35 between Front Street and Levee Road. This lane is expected to be closed two to three days, and then crews will move to the next lane until all northbound lanes are repaired. Drivers should expect various lane closures and delays in the area until Nov. 11.
