Amey is conducting essential bridge expansion joint replacements on behalf of Transport Scotland.

The works will take place over three nights, running from 8pm on Monday, March 9 until 6am on Thursday, March 12.

These improvements mandate complete overnight road closures at the location. However, an alternative route will be signposted for drivers.

From there, traffic will travel through Aitkenhead Road, Cathcart Road, Laurieston Road, Ballater Street, Norfolk Street, Nelson Street, Morrison Street, Patterson Street, Wallace Street and Dalintober Street, ending at the M8’s westbound Junction 12.

Emergency vehicles will maintain access during this closure.

The works may be cancelled or rescheduled dependent on adverse weather conditions.
